LAST Saturday, on the occasion of International Animal Protection Day, a special event dedicated to the adoption of dogs from the City of Zagreb Shelter for Stray Animals was held at the European Square in Zagreb. During the day, dogs Lunjo and Miška were happily adopted, and four more dogs found their homes at the shelter.
But Charlie, an eight-month-old terrier cross, was the only one to return to Dumovec. Although he happily saw off his canine friends and wished them luck, his gaze remained full of hope that he too would soon find someone to love him.
Charlie is a cheerful and playful little being, weighing only 5 kilograms, which makes him the perfect companion for living in an apartment or house. He likes walks, closeness to people and would prefer to be next to his man – either on his lap or on a pillow next to his feet.
He was found on the street while wandering around the city, but now he is looking for safety, warmth and a home full of love. Dumovec says that Charlie dreams of the same thing that Lunjo and Miška already have – a family of his own.
