A BERNE mountain dog, Carl, and his brother, Newfoundland Steve, became an internet sensation after they took a ride on an elevator by themselves. Their owner found herself unable to keep up with them, but these clever giants handled it like true professionals.
The owner had a stroller and a baby with her, and the elevator was too small to fit two huge dogs, her and the stroller. Since they had never been in an elevator alone before, she was a little worried, but she had no choice. She sent them first, hoping they would know what to do when the doors opened at their destination.
To her delight, Carl and Steve understood the task. Not only did they get off the elevator on the right floor, but they also waited patiently for her to arrive with their little human sister. The video that captured the moment was shared on Instagram last week and has racked up 15 million views.
